Residential

The first two pictures here are a before and after of the Barker's Residence living room.  I had the opportunity to help them with paint color, furniture, window treatments, art and accessories which made this living room a warm and cozy place to entertain or sit quietly and read.

The other two living room shots are of a house in the Trilogy development in Redmond and shows new furniture and paint colors selected from colors in the client's art.

The other pictures are of a 60's house in Edmonds that I helped update in order to sell for my clients.  We wanted to keep some of the original feel of the house but update it with colors and style.  I helped with all the paint color selections interior and exterior as well as tile selections and design throughout.

Commercial

This project was a fun and full service project.  I was the project manager as well as designer on this job going from studs in a retrofitted historic building in Ballard to what you see here.  The clients operate a foundation focusing on fair trade and a green planet and therefore everything for this project had to be as sustainable as possible.  We recovered a lot of the furniture that the clients already owned and used bamboo flooring as well as marmoleum plus many other sustainable products throughout.   As you can see they wanted bright fun colors to keep them motivated and modern, they were very happy with the results as was I, it is an amazing space to be in and a good way to reuse space.

Kitchen Remodels

This first kitchen pictured is a kitchen finished late November 2009.  It was a small galley kitchen that was very fun to remodel and make so new for the client.  We did it all very affordably and the space now feels larger without moving any walls just with finishes and new cabinets.

The next kitchen shows off our mosaic backsplash and the colors in this house that was remodeled for resale.

The 2nd to last kitchen is the Walsh Kitchen in Woodinville which also shows my preliminary drawings and how we came to use the space they had in the most beneficial way.  The island is gigantic and has a fabulous piece of granite which is a focal point for the whole kitchen.  These clients love to cook and entertain and needed to expand their space to fit all of their needs.

The last kitchen pictured is the Rosenfelder Kitchen in Renton which was a great project to work on since I had worked with them before starting with their living room and later remodeling two bathrooms and then finally the kitchen.  We had the idea and preliminary plans for the kitchen five years before we finally did the remodel and it turned into an amazing kitchen which my clients are absolutely thrilled with.

Bathroom Remodels

The first three bathrooms pictured here were for a contractor who was remodeling this house in West Seattle for resale.  Instead of doing everything plain beige as most resales do we were able to do a little bit more exciting things in this house.  I selected the colors and tiles from the granite that was first chosen for each bathroom.  I also selected the light fixtures, sinks, faucets, etc.  The first bathroom is the master, then the downstairs bathroom and the last set of pictures from this house is the powder room.

The next three pictures are of a powder room in Bellevue where the client wanted to work off of the stain glass window already in the room.  We came up with the tumbled natural stone look and tiled the niche that was already built in adjacent to the stain glass as well.  The paint color although bold works with the colors in the stain glass as well as the natural stone.  We also used decorative metal tiles to pull in the hammered copper vessel sink.
